Title: Data Analyst, Client Analytics

Reporting To: Data & Analytics Engineer
The Data Analyst, Client Analytics will own our client reporting capabilities within CRA by turning product performance data from a variety of sources into valuable, data-based analytical stories easily digestible for clients to see the value in CRA. You will work cross-functionally with customer success, sales, and product owners to craft compelling narratives with strong analysis and data visualization skills to show how the alignment of our products/services meet the client’s needs. This role will be client facing and have a strong background in marketing analytics and are comfortable explaining marketing metrics directly to marketers.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, CRA is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account numerous factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to a candidates' qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,000 to $90,000, which does not include other compensation benefits package.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and oversee strategies around the collection of data and activities to obtain the data
- Meet with key stakeholders to collect requirements for client reporting
- Leverage data warehouse to visualize and create real time reporting dashboards in data visualization tools for business and campaign level insights
- Manage, run, interpret, and share recurring weekly and monthly performance results from multiple channels
- Provide solicited and unsolicited ad-hoc reports and analysis that are immediately actionable by stakeholders at all levels
- Provide insight and intelligence of database information and audience engagement results to evaluate liabilities, assess performance, identify database marketing opportunities and track audience engagement patterns
- Design and deliver ongoing analysis to provide key business stakeholders with insights to make smart decisions based on data and not assumptions
- Perform data mining and statistical analysis to produce insights that drive data-driven content and campaigns. Translate data into meaningful strategic and tactical recommendations based on these analyses.
- Bachelor’s degree or additional equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of successful, related and progressive experience in data management.
- Strong analytical experience in digital marketing and event analytics
- Strong analytical competencies such as ability to formulate an analytical problem; QC data and results; summarize key findings/insights; make actionable recommendations.
- Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent presentation skills and comfortable telling stories using data to bring up new opportunities or best practices to improve operations and growth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Effective listener.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with strong personal integrity.
- Technical skills o MS Office (Outlook, PPT, Word, Excel, Visio), Google Docs, Dropbox o Comfortable with CMS software
- Experience with tools such as SQL, Tableau, HUM (or similar CDP), Google Analytics, Marketo a plus.
- Experience in AI, machine learning (python or R) and predictive analytics a plus.
- Enjoys presenting to clients and turning data into a value-driven story
- Highly organized, motivated self-starter, multi-tasker, comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Creative, inquisitive and curious partner, with ability and interest to perform in a hands-on start-up environment and exercise good judgment
- Ability to estimate, plan and manage tasks and report on progress in an agile environment
- The ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments to partner in aligning goals and strategies
- Contributes to a culture of transparency and accountability and has a track record of operating with high-integrity and honesty; a team leader who can positively impact both strategic and tactical initiatives
