Title: Marketing Analyst, Client Analytics
 Location: NYC/Remote
 Reporting To: Data & Analytics Engineer

The Marketing Analyst will own our client reporting capabilities within CRA by turning product performance data from a variety of sources into valuable, data-based analytical stories easily digestible for clients to see the value in CRA. You will work cross-functionally with customer success, sales, and product owners to craft compelling narratives with strong analysis and data visualization skills to show how the alignment of our products/services meet the client’s needs. This role will be client facing and have a strong background in marketing analytics and are comfortable explaining marketing metrics directly to marketers

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and reporting to measure marketing, audience, content, and campaign performance across CRA brands and channels
  • Use SQL to query, validate, and analyze data in Snowflake, ensuring accuracy and consistency of marketing and client-facing metrics
  • Measure and analyze campaign performance across email, content, events, sponsorships, and audience engagement initiatives 
  • Leverage data from CDPs (e.g., HUM or similar), Marketo, GA4, and event platforms to create unified views of audience behavior and performance
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to validate data, support new data pipelines, and improve reporting architecture and metric definitions
  • Develop standardized and ad-hoc reporting for Marketing, Demand Generation, Audience Marketing, Sales, Client Success, and Product teams, including external client-facing reports
  • Partner with Demand Generation and Audience Marketing to identify opportunities to grow audience engagement and increase lead generation using data-driven insights
  • Support Sales and Client Success by participating in client calls and presentations, providing data-driven insights, validating metrics, and answering performance-related questions
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 - 6+ years of experience in marketing analytics, digital analytics, or a related analytical role
  • Strong analytical experience measuring digital marketing, content, event, and audience performance
  • Proven ability to formulate analytical questions, validate data and results, summarize insights, and make clear, actionable, data-driven recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple reporting and analysis workstreams simultaneously
  • Excellent presentation skills with experience communicating insights through dashboards, reports, and client-facing presentations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain metrics and results to both technical and non-technical audiences 
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and interpersonal effectiveness.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and validating data in a data warehouse environment (Snowflake preferred) 
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools, with Tableau strongly preferred
  • Experience working with modern marketing technology platforms such as CDPs (e.g., HUM or similar), Marketo, and Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Comfort working across multiple data sources and systems, including CMS and event platforms 
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to create clear, well-designed presentations using tools such as PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Canva

Job Information (NYC)
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, CRA is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account numerous factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to a candidates' qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and location.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,000 to $90,000, which does not include other compensation benefits package.
